13 Reasons Why Most Streamed Netflix Soundtrack

The Netflix soundtrack with the highest estimated earnings in Spotify streaming royalties is 13 Reasons Why, according to stats collected by Nodepositdaddy.com.

After compiling a list of popular Netflix series, Nodepositdaddy.com took to Spotify to uncover the total number of streams per soundtrack for every album.

Using Music Gateway’s streaming royalty calculator, (which estimates that each Spotify stream is worth £0.0031), the Netflix series were ranked from highest to lowest according to estimated royalties earned.

The results revealed that the Netflix soundtrack with the highest estimated earnings in streaming royalties is 13 Reasons Why.

The most streamed song on this soundtrack is Lovely by Billie Elish, racking up 1,662,972,062 streams, in addition to Back To You by Selena Gomez with 813,168,862 global streams.

Running with four seasons from 2017-2020, 13 Reasons Why amassed 5,895,166,129 in combined Spotify streams, resulting in estimated earnings of £20,279,371 – 28% more earnings than Stranger Things, which came in second place.

With Spotify streams totalling 4,325,357,992, the soundtracks from Stranger Things secured estimated earnings of £14,569,631.

Despite having aired three seasons fewer than Orange Is The New Black, Stranger Things is still predicted to have earned 89% more for its soundtrack.

In third place is Peaky Blinders with a total combination of 1,757,291,126 soundtrack streams, with estimated earnings in royalties of £6,056,617.

Fourth is Orange Is the New Black with 456,564,911 combined soundtrack streams, which is an estimated £1,570,583 in royalties.

Completing the top five is The Witcher, with season two premiering at the end of 2021. The fantasy series has a total of 127,052,485 Spotify streams for its soundtrack, which is an estimated £437,239.

The Crown came in at number six, number seven was Bridgerton, number eight was Sex Education, number nine was The Queen’s Gambit, with Lucifer coming in tenth position.
