Augspurger Monitors has unveiled its new MX65-Sub12 nearfield speaker at The NAMM Show 2023.
This desktop sized speaker can be used as both a nearfield and main monitor when combined with the Augspurger Monitors Sub12, and is available with a matching stand that sits between the sub and main, when positioned as freestanding.
The system includes a pair of the Augspurger Monitors SXE-3D 3-way DSPTune-powered amplifiers with on board DSP control and amplifier outputs for sub, mid and high – totalling 3500 watts.
Each system can be tuned either in person or remotely by a certified Augspurger Monitors tuning engineer.
The new MX65-Sub12 will be available from April 15 2023, and costs $17,500 / £14,500 / EU 16,500 in standard matte black, without stands, and $21,000 / £ 17,500 / EU 20,000 with custom paint and stands included.
During the NAMM Show, Augspurger Monitors is inviting visitors to experience its systems in Dolby Atmos.
A 9.5.4 system will feature five of its Augspurger Duo8-Sub212 speakers for LCR, and rears, plus four MX-65s for side and wide surrounds, and four for height L/R front and back.
The set-up will be powered by 13 amplifiers and will be connected to a full Dolby Atmos system where special VIP guest engineers including Leslie Brathwaite, EarCandy, Echo, Rich Keller and Roc.Am will host exclusive demonstrations, playing a variety of their recent mixes.
Augspurger Monitors is showcasing in Booth #15308 in the North Hall at The NAMM Show 2023, April 13-16, in Anaheim, California.
