Baby Audio has expanded its synth lineup with a new virtual instrument called Atoms.
Atoms uses physical modelling to generate an endless variety of organic and otherworldly sounds that users can mangle, shape and create. Its six main parameters can be automated with a selection of motion options to add extra life, allowing users to create soundscapes that are constantly shifting and re-generating like a natural organism.
The plugin comes equipped with a randomization engine that selectively adjusts each parameter based on its relationship to the others, creating usable patches with every roll of the dice.
Atoms takes a unique approach to effects, with onboard modulation derived from the behaviour of the physical model itself. It ships with 250 presets from top producers and sound designers.
Atoms is compatible with all major DAWs for Mac and PC and fully M1/M2 native. An iOS version is underway. It is available now for $99 MSRP with a $59 intro sale ending March 30th.
At the end of last year, Baby Audio released a new free tool called Beat Slammer, a compression plugin for smashing and squashing drums, beats or entire mix busses.
