Following on from their Little Black Book album, Groove Armada have just announced an original new production entitled Call Me which drops on October 9th.
A dub version of the track was included on the album, but this release is reworked into 10 minutes of feel-good electronica fusing funky bass, piano, and a nice rich vocal, in true Groove Armada fashion.
Tom Cato and Andy Findlay released their Little Black Book series earlier this summer, which takes the listener through the duo's 20-year career: 80s inspiration, long hot summers in Ibiza, and life on the road touring the globe. This two-disc special includes one half Groove Armada originals and remixes, and a cool project which brings in the skills of a dozen producers, each of which put their own touch on a classic Groove Armada track culminating in redefined versions of Love Sweet Sound, Superstylin, Chicago, and I See You Baby, just to name a few.
It's been a jam-packed summer for Groove Armada with shows at Ibiza mega-clubs Space and Amnesia; and closer to home, they’ve taken to the stage at Lovebox as well as Glastonbury. This Autumn, Groove Armada will headline some of the UK’s best clubs, including London's Fabric and Manchester’s The Warehouse Project.
