David Guetta Most Googled DJ In 2021

NYX has looked into search data around famous DJs over 2021 so far, revealing what DJs are being searched for the most and where.

The top three most Googled DJs are David Guetta, with 7,762,860 searches, followed by Calvin Harris in second with 4,147,960 searches, with Martin Garrix in third with 4,108,190 searches.

The study features a full top 10 list of the most searched for artists and also looks into the highest searched DJs in different countries, and features an interactive map to see what DJs people are searching for across the globe.

Guetta ranks first for 19 countries. In the decades that he has been making music, he has racked up more than 10 billion streams on YouTube and Spotify combined.

In the UK, English DJ and producer, Fatboy Slim takes the top spot, with Harris in second followed by Guetta.

The USA’s most searched DJ is Harris, beating American DJ Bassnectar and Canadian producer Deadmau5 to first place.

Harris (real name Adam Richard Wiles) started his career back in 2002, gaining success with his album I Created Disco in 2007, and has since won countless awards for his music. Currently Harris is releasing music under the alias Love Generator.

Sweeping up a handful of the remaining top spots, including in his home country of the Netherlands, in third place is Garrix. The Dutch DJ first entered the scene back in 2012 at only 14 years old.

Now aged 25, Garrix has 26.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has scored a space in the top five of DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs poll for seven consecutive years.

Afrojack beats Excision into fourth place, with just shy of three million searches. The Dutch DJ has been active since 2007 and has released 75 singles.

With 2.5 million searches, Canadian DJ Excision takes fifthplace. Excision, whose real name is Jeff Abel, entered the scene in 2006 at just 20 years old.

He has since gone on to found multiple record labels, including Rottun Recordings, Destroid Music, and most recently in 2020, Subsidia Records.
