Tracklib, a digital service for clearing samples, has announced a $12.2-million funding round, with investors including the Sony Innovation Fund, WndrCo, and former NBA player and music producer Baron Davis.
Stockholm-based Tracklib provides music producers and artists with pre-cleared, high-calibre original music for sampling.
Tracklib makes sample clearance fast and easy, allowing creators to utilise subscription plans that grant them access to over 100k original recordings, consisting of various collections of drum breaks, loops, synths, and more.
Tracklib plans to use the funding to reinforce and grow its community, including via original collaborations with leading producers and artists, as well as to expand both the available catalogue and the features on the platform.
