Travis Scott Teams Up With Young Thug And M.I.A. For New Single ‘Franchise’

Travis Scott has collaborated with Young Thug and M.I.A. on latest single Franchise, which he released today.

The Houston rapper created much hype around the new track by making it available for pre-order last week for only 69 cents. Franchise dropped at midnight on Thursday alongside a self-directed music video.

It’s a typical Scott track, with massive bass and verses bouncing between the three rappers.

Scott partnered with IMAX to make the global debut of the Franchise music video at select theatres during Thursday night showings of Christopher Nolan's film Tenet. Scott also recently recorded The Plan for Nolan's movie.

Nolan delivered a handwritten letter to Scott, who posted it on Twitter, about his anticipation for the Franchise world premiere: "Travis-- Love the video (shot on film, no less!). I can't wait to hear it on the IMAX speakers, and see those sheep stampede across the giant screen as part of a Travis/Tenet/Travis sandwich!" the Oscar-winning filmmaker wrote.

The single artwork for Franchise was created by George Condo, the contemporary artist behind the cover art for Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
