David Guetta Sets Record For Most Watched TikTok Live DJ Set

French DJ David Guetta, who has achieved 75 million record sales and over 10 billion streams, received a new accolade with TikTok’s highest-streamed live set by a DJ.

Recorded while performing at his long-running Ibiza closing party, Ushuaïa F*** Me I’m Famous on October third, the live stream amassed 638,400 unique viewers, also gaining Guetta 100k new followers on the social media platform.

The live performance and stream followed shortly after Guetta’s latest single, I’m Good (Blue) with Bebe Rexha, one of the latest examples of a song finding huge success thanks to its use on TikTok.

A snippet of the song being played at Ultra Festival, Miami, was originally posted to the app in July, which began generating buzz for the track. The following month, Rexha posted a video dancing to the clip with the caption, “I have no idea how it made it to TikTok but I love it!,” and Guetta posted a TikTok of the clip calling its growth “TikTok Magic,” while also announcing the song’s official release.

The song has gone on to reach number one on the UK singles chart, number two on Spotify internationally, number three on Shazam internationally, and 15 number one chart positions across the world. Guetta and Rexha have seen the song achieve 290 million combined streams worldwide, and TikTok has seen 260,000 creations using the song by its users.
