Audeze and Microsoft launch Limited Edition Gaming Headset

Premium headphone manufacturer Audeze has announced the release of a limited edition gaming headset developed in partnership with Microsoft, for their ‘Designed for Xbox’ Summer product collection.

The stylish, limited edition "Ultraviolet" version of their highly lauded Maxwell gaming headset features a new finish that adds a unique look to what is said to be one of the best gaming headsets on the market.

The partnership between Audeze and Microsoft began in 2021 with the Microsoft certification of Audeze's Penrose gaming headset, and continued recently with Microsoft's certification of the new Maxwell gaming headset. The partnership has expanded access to Audeze's planar magnetic headsets to Microsoft's vast audience of console users; life-like audio quality as delivered by Audeze's planar magnetic drivers is often a powerful tool for gamers.

Microsoft's ‘Designed for Xbox’ program premiered its first collection with a variety of gaming accessories in playful pastel tones last spring. To elevate the already chic look of the Maxwell headset for the second collection, a colour-shifting finish was applied to the ear cups and headband using an electroplating process, resulting in a one-of-a-kind pearlescent look.
