BAFTA Reveals This Year’s Gaming Audio And Music Nominations

The nominations for the 2021 BAFTA Games Awards have been announced, including in the audio achievement and music categories.

This year’s awards show comprises 18 different categories and is set to take place at 19:00 GMT on March 25.

The 90-minute event will be streamed exclusively online via multiple platforms.

Presenter and journalist Elle Osili-Wood will be hosting the event which will be streamed live from BAFTA’s Facebook, Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, and – for the first time – on Steam too.

The following are the categories and their respective nominees pertaining to game audio and music:

Audio Achievement:

Astro’s Playroom development team: Team ASOBI/Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.

Ghost Of Tsushima: Rev. Dr. Bradley D. Meyer - Sucker Punch Productions/Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe.

Hades: Darren Korb, Supergiant Games/Supergiant Games.

Half-Life: ALYX development team – Valve/Valve.

The Last Of Us Part II development team: Naughty Dog/Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe.

Marvel’s Spider Man: Miles Morales development team - Insomniac Games/Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe.

Music:
