Bose Enters League Of Legends

Bose has become the official headset partner of all League of Legends Esports global events.

Starting at the World Championship, Bose will provide headsets for each global event, including the Mid-Season Invitational and the All-Star Event.

The deal coincides with the release of Bose’s first headset designed for gaming. The QuietComfort 35 II headsets will be used by all players, camera talent, referees and production crew at the 2020 World Championship – which began on September 25 in Shanghai.

Bose’s QuietComfort 35 II gaming headset has been engineered to play everything, and features Bose’s Acoustic noise cancelling technology, a detachable gaming module – and crucially – are designed for hours of competitive gaming and music listening.

The QC35 II gaming headset uses a combination of patented active and passive noise cancellation innovations, resulting in crisp, clear audio and rich, deep bass over a bed of virtual silence.

The removable gaming module attaches in seconds and is equipped with a Discord and TeamSpeak-certified boom mic that is designed to reject noise and ensure any player’s teammates can hear the gamer loud and clear.

“Bose has been an industry leader in audio technology and innovation for decades, and we’re thrilled to partner with them to both level up the pro player experience across LoL Esports and our global events while also providing an even richer audio connection to our fans,” said Naz Aletaha, head of global Esports partnerships and business development at Riot Games.

Along with providing its headset for all global events, Bose will launch a series of content named Sounds of The Game which explores the importance of sound in competitive League of Legends.

“Bose is excited to enter the Esports space by supporting LoL Global Events and its competitors, while also introducing our first-ever gaming headset to the market,” added Pat Lacriox, Head of Global Brand and Marketing Activation at Bose.

“The relationship between Bose and Riot is a natural fit – both companies take pride in leading with technology and innovation, and putting the customer first.”
