Cameron Bloomfield To Review QSC PA

London-based singer-songwriter Cameron Bloomfield is the first artist to participate in QSC’s initiative to support the live events industry by providing his feedback on a QSC PA system.

As artists are currently unable to play live due to the restrictions caused by the worldwide pandemic – QSC is looking towards a time when they can play live again, when the need for live events will become more prevalent than ever.

QSC is looking to help kick-start artists’ comebacks when they return to live performance by giving them a chance to win an active loudspeaker system for their future gigs.

Bloomfield will be putting two QSC K12.2 active loudspeakers and one QSC KS212C subwoofer through their paces in his home studio.

Bloomfield is a multi-instrumentalist and self-confessed music obsessive, drawing influences from iconic artists including Prince, Curtis Mayfield and Stevie Wonder.

Picked as an artist to watch by Elton John, Bloomfield’s song Lazarus was played on Elton John’s radio show, and the legendary artist added Bloomfield’s track, Wanted to his #EltonLove #NewMusicFriday playlist this year.

First coming to public attention as a featured artist on Grime star Ghetts' critically acclaimed Rebel with a Cause album and subsequent tour where he performed vocals and guitar, Bloomfield and Ghetts continued to collaborate, teaming up again to create the poignant track, Lost.

Bloomfield’s debut single, Get In Get Out was released in Oct 2017, with the funk record serving as a bold statement of intent and a precursor to his debut EP, The Night Before.

Drawn from extensive personal experience, The Night Before is a collection of songs that tells the story of a night out unfolding into the day after. Sophomore EP The Morning After followed in November 2019, with lead single Another Man's Woman receiving the honour of a world premiere from Sir Elton John on his Rocket Hour radio show.

One lucky participant will win a system comprising two QSC K12.2 active loudspeakers and one QSC KS212C subwoofer, which will be raffled amongst all successfully featured applicants.

UPDATE: The entry period for this competition is now closed and the winner will be announced on March 1st 2021.
