Attendees of ISE 2023 will have the opportunity to see the latest line of JBL Professional products this week in Barcelona.
The most recent products on display at the trade show include JBL Professional's SRX900 powered line arrays and subwoofers, PRX900 powered portable PA systems, VTX A6 line array and B15 subwoofer touring audio solutions and the Control Contractor commercial loudspeaker expansion series.
The PRX900 Series of powered portable PA systems are loudspeakers for DJs and bands, music venues, rental houses and corporate A/V providers, featuring advanced acoustics and a comprehensive DSP.
The line includes three two-way loudspeakers and two subwoofers and is built to leverage JBL’s most advanced acoustic innovations. Also worth noting are new proprietary driver systems, powered by Class D amplifiers, which are used for clarity and definition even at maximum volume, with improved dispersion, beam width and smooth low-frequency extension.
The PRX900 Series’ DSP package, accessible via onboard LCDs and the JBL Pro Connect app, includes 12-band parametric EQ for system tuning and tonal control and integrated dbx Drive Rack technology – featuring live and fixed Automatic Feedback Suppression, soft system limiter with Soundcraft Overeasy option and speaker delay settings and presets.
The JBL Professional SRX900 Series of powered line arrays and subwoofers includes high-performance, professional dual 6.5-inch and dual 10-inch line arrays and 18-inch and dual 18-inch subwoofers at an affordable price point.
The SRX900 Series’ performance is based on JBL technologies. Precision waveguides provide accurate pattern control for intelligibility and definition.
User-configurable DSP and design-and-management software tools provide hands-on control from a computer or mobile device, making design, deployment and control easy for most users. Meanwhile, SRX900’s cabinet architecture is engineered for easy handling, fast rigging, minimal space displacement and streamlined transport.
The JBL Professional VTX A6 Line Array and B15 subwoofer touring audio solutions combine JBL’s flagship acoustic technologies to compact form factors for small to medium-sized touring and fixed installations.
The A6 6.5-inch passive two-way line array element is engineered for sonic performance and ease of integration and deployment, as a standalone system or as a supplement to larger VTX systems. It houses two custom 6.5-inch woofers and a 3-inch annular-diaphragm compression driver and features acoustic innovations pioneered in JBL’s VTX line.
