Headliner Announces Aspiring Artist Stage at Pub in the Park Festival, St. Albans

The new Headliner Stage for aspiring artists at Pub in the Park Festival, St. Albans will host a full programme of 23 singer-songwriters and bands across the festival’s three days from September 6-8, in a bid to bring more opportunity to young aspiring musicians.

This will be Headliner’s first foray into a major music festival, but the Headliner team has enjoyed putting on a string of live music events and showcases over the past year at several local venues which it has helped recharge such as The Pioneer Club, The Suet Yard, and Darkwood Studios - so it’s an exciting, but natural progression.

Headliner has always been passionate about championing aspiring talent, and to be able to showcase some of the artists we have worked with over the last weeks and months on our own stage at a festival that we know well and is local to us is an amazing feeling,” stated Headliner Group CEO, Paul Watson.

“We are also big on education, so we have ensured that some of our local crew at the festival will be students; working a stage will not only be a valuable learning experience for them, it opens more doors for future work.”
