Goo Goo Dolls co-founder, bassist and vocalist, Robby Takac, has spoken to Headliner about the band’s new rarities collection, how the industry has changed over the past three decades and why he and his bandmates have returned to their roots to find inspiration for their upcoming new studio album.
In a wide-ranging interview, Takac reflects on some of the seismic changes that have transformed the music business beyond all recognition from the industry he and Goo Goo Dolls co-founder Johnny Rzeznik entered more than three decades ago. He also walks us through the process that led to the band releasing a new rarities collection – fittingly titled Rarities – and what lies in store for fans over the coming months.
