Holoplot to unveil new simulation software and X1 rigging system at ISE 2023

Berlin-based pro audio specialist Holoplot is set to unveil the beta version of its Holoplot Plan simulation software and its new X1 rigging system at ISE 2023 next week.

Since launching in 2011, Holoplot has made waves across the pro audio market with its 3D audio beamforming and wavefield synthesis, which is designed to create highly immersive, spatial audio experiences.

In its efforts to make designing, simulating, and setting up a Holoplot system simple and intuitive, the company has developed HOLOPLOT Plan.

“Our aim is to make our technology more accessible,” said head of product, Michael Kastner. “Holoplot Plan allows creatives and designers to see the direct impact our technology can have on their own projects.”

Using Plan’s 3D graphical interface, Matrix Arrays of different configurations can be designed, and sound fields based on 3D Audio-Beamforming and Wave Field Synthesis technologies can be created.

The software simulates and visualizes direct sound pressure levels, providing a realistic prediction of the audio coverage in the venue. For further analysis and advanced simulations, projects can be exported to EASE.

Company experts will also give ISE visitors the chance to experience Plan first-hand on its stand at the show. It is extending an invitation to join its mission by designing sound systems using the Beta version of Holoplot Plan and sharing their thoughts and feedback with the team by signing up to the Early Access Program.

Meanwhile, Holoplot will also be launching the new X1 rigging system at the Barcelona show. The system will be in action in the Holoplot demo room, along with a deeper dive into Holoplot Plan with a schedule of daily 30-minute seminars entitled ‘Sound system design brought to life with X1 and HOLOPLOT Plan’ and ‘Maneuvering tricky acoustic terrain with X1.’

The X1 is designed to offer enhanced flexibility, allowing arrays to be deployed vertically or horizontally with infinite scalability, opening the door for X1 into both the fixed installation and rental market.

ISE attendees can hear from Holoplot head of sales, Ryan Penny, at the Live Events Summit on February 2 in CC5.3 from 16:45 - 17:25, where he’ll be taking his place alongside other industry leaders in the ‘Technical innovation: the latest developments already changing the live touring landscape’ session to discuss some of the latest innovations they are bringing to the live touring sphere and discuss what impact they are likely to have on this world.

Headliner recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Holoplot CEO Roman Sick to discuss his personal journey with the company and his ambitions to change the world of pro audio as we know it. You can read the full interview here.
