Lectrosonic’s IFBlue Receiver & Dock Charging System Receives 2023 TEC Award Nomination

Lectrosonics' IFBlue value-priced brand has announced that its low-cost IFB (Interruptible Foldback) receiver pack and associated dock charging system have been nominated for a 2023 Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Awards for Outstanding Technical Achievement in the category of wireless products.

The IFBlue System is designed to reach a broader range of customers in production, film, broadcast, videography, live events, and houses of worship, offering compatibility with Lectrosonics IFBT4 transmitters or any Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitters operating in IFB compatibility mode.

The IFBlue receivers are easy to set up and use, offering 10 presets that are easily programmable from the backlit LCD front panel. Five tuning ranges are available, and future firmware updates can be installed in the IFBlue receivers in the field via the USB jack located behind the battery door. The IFBlue companion dock charging system, the CHSIFBR1C, is capable of charging up to four receivers when using NiMh rechargeable batteries.

Karl Winkler, VP of sales and marketing at Lectrosonics, expressed the company's honour for the nomination, stating that the IFBlue receivers and companion charging docks meet and exceed customers' requirements while remaining compatible with the existing line of IFB products.

The finalists will be celebrated at The 2023 NAMM Show at the TEC Experience, a special, communal reception designed to gather the crossroads of the industry to applaud the achievements of the researchers and developers, product designers, marketers and innovators behind the products.

The event, which is open to all NAMM Show attendees and precedes the return of the TEC Awards in 2024, will be held on the campus of the Anaheim Convention Center on the evening of Thursday, April 13.
