Ahead of the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty and Universal Music recently teamed up to host a secret gig – with Chase & Status headlining – in London.
Ahead of launch, Chase & Status and collaborator Bou dropped three missions to give 25 winners and a plus one each the opportunity to attend the secret gig in London.
Winners were invited to attend the exclusive gig in London to celebrate the launch, one day ahead of the global release.
At the event, there was an opportunity to play the game ahead of the rest of the UK and a chance to experience multiple surprises linked to Modern Warfare III and the Modern Warfare series. The venue was revealed to winners one week ahead of the event.
Chase & Status are one of the most successful UK electronic music artists of all time, with four top five albums and six top 10 singles under their belt, surpassing two billion streams across their catalogue.
Chase & Status have sold out stadiums and arenas around the world over a career spanning 20 years. In 2023, the duo set the scene alight with the three biggest dance tracks of the year: singles Baddadan x Bou ft. Irah, Trigga, Flowdan & Takura, Disconnect with Becky Hill and Liquor & Cigarettes with Hedex and Arrdee.
Baddadan and Disconnect have remained in the top 10 of the UK Official Singles chart for five and 10 weeks, respectively.
Supporting Chase & Status was Algerian born and Manchester-raised DJ and producer, Bou, clocking up over 4M monthly listeners on Spotify alone.
Bou first appeared on the scene in 2017 with early tracks Poison and Veteran feat Trigga. Cementing his global footprint in 2023 with huge tours in Australia, USA and Europe alongside some of the UK’s biggest festivals like Glastonbury, he has had his first top five UK single with Chase and Status on the biggest D&B record of the year, Baddadan, and a further Certified Silver Top 40 with Closer featuring Slay.
