This year’s ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) saw renowned DJ Martin Garrix take centre stage, delivering a 120-minute DJ set, participate in a panel of experts on the state of the industry, and top DJ Mag’s annual poll of the world’s leading DJs.
The Dutch DJ and producer has now topped the poll five time, bringing him level with fellow DJ icon Armin van Buuren, who presented him with the award.
Garrix then served up a 120-minute set, drawing the curtain on a week of performances, panel sessions, and networking opportunities.
Over the course of this year’s ADE, Garrix kicked off proceedings with his STMPD RCRDS label night at AFAS Live, which featured a line-up of 14 artists performing back-to-back sets. Garrix also gave a surprise performance on the night under his alias Ytram – the first time he had done so since 2018.
The next day he took the stage at ADE Pro with friends and colleagues Afrojack, Julian Jordan, Mesto, and Justin Mylo. The panel discussed their beginnings in the industry and shared tips for upcoming DJ/producers.
Furthermore, Garrix released fan favourite Gravity with Sem Vox and Jaimes and debuted a brand new release with singer songwriter Jex, who also joined him onstage at both the STMPD RCRDS label night and AMF.
