The Music Producers Guild has announced that the 2021 MPG Awards will now take place on June 10, while two new categories have been announced for the 2021 ceremony: UK Writer-Producer Of The Year and UK Original Score Recording Of The Year.
Submissions will be open from October 5-19, and anyone can put forward a name against one of the 13 award categories (the remaining Awards are in the gift of the MPG).
The eligibility period has also been extended to include music released between August 1 2019 and September 30 2020.
The MPG recognises rising stars as well as more established industry players, and therefore encourages submissions from anyone – from music industry professionals, to the general public.
