Roland Opens New Showroom In Central London

Roland Corporation, together with Outernet London, has announced the opening of a brand new Roland Store and music showroom at Denmark Street in the heart of London.

The latest announcement from Roland, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is part of a global strategy to deliver exceptional creative experiences for musicians in a dedicated, full-scale retail environment.

Visitors to Roland Store London will be able to experience an extensive range of Roland and BOSS products currently not available in central London. Roland also has plans to include regular onsite workshops and masterclasses, along with 121 after sales care sessions with the aim to help music makers get the most from their gear. The store will also include Roland’s proprietary ASX, where the store’s lighting, audio and video content are tailored to customers’ tastes.

Roland product specialists will staff the store, which will also serve as a convenient central London hub for Roland and BOSS artists to check out the latest releases, in addition to Roland’s main Artist Centre at Metropolis Studios in Chiswick.

David Vazquez, CEO of Roland Europe said, “We’re delighted to be able to support our customers in central London, and our retail partners nationwide, by showcasing an exciting range of Roland and BOSS products in a brand new Denmark Street showroom.

“Having retailed in central London previously, both in Harrods and the Virgin Megastore, we’re excited to return to this iconic music location. Our aim is to once again let musicians experience a wider range of products not currently available in central London.”

Outernet London is an immersive media, music, and culture district, at the heart of which is The Now Building - said to be the world’s most advanced experiential public space, featuring 23,000 square feet of floor-to-celling screens. Within the district is Here, a new 2,000 capacity live events venue and a smaller venue called The Lower Third. Also set to open is The BPI Recording Studio, a professional quality pro-bono studio and already open is the unique Denmark Street apartments and session rooms of Chateau Denmark.

Situated on Denmark Street, the area is often described as the birthplace of the British music industry, where iconic artists such as Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols and David Bowie lived and created their music.
