Rudimental – comprising Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden and Leon "Locksmith" Rolle – rose to prominence in 2012 when they topped the UK Singles Chart with their single Feel the Love, featuring singer John Newman. The band have won several awards, including a BRIT Award and the MOBO Award for Best Album.
"Helping to preserve grassroots venues is something we are passionate about, and by headlining this fundraiser at The Pioneer Club we want to help raise awareness of the venue, the charity, and all that it is striving to achieve in terms of music education, entertainment, and providing a safe creative place for young people,” Rudimental told Headliner.
Support on the night will come from record producer, DJ and remix artist 220 Kid – whose remix of Nathan Evans' Wellerman with Billen Ted reached the top of the UK singles chart in 2021 – and Lo Lauren, who has been making waves in the music world since her debut single Just Friends in 2020.
The rising pop songstress, who grew up in Rochester, Kent, draws musical inspiration from the likes of Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Gwen Stefani, and Olivia Rodrigo. A self-confessed chocolate addict, she can also Irish dance and makes her own LO hair clips as merchandise. Her dream? To shoot a music video with her favourite film director Baz Luhrmann.
