Band Industries showcases Roadie 3 tuner at NAMM 2021

Band Industries is debuting its new Roadie 3 instrument tuner at Namm’s Believe in Music week.

The startup managed to bring the project to fruition after a successful phase of crowdfunding, despite the ongoing challenges faced as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

By listening to and engaging with their backers, the Roadie Tuner line of products have collectively raised over one million dollars in crowdfunding since they first started, with their last campaign for Roadie 3 bringing in almost 450,000 dollars on Kickstarter and Indiegogo.

Roadie 3 is designed to be able to tune almost all instruments with geared pegs in a matter of seconds. These include electric guitars, acoustic guitars, classical guitars with nylon strings, pedal steel guitars, ukuleles, mandolins, banjos, to name a few.

The device can quickly wind a new string to tension with a motor speed of 120 RPM and tunes it up all in one smooth step. Users can also easily explore alternate tuning and quickly switch into any tuning with Roadie 3’s redesigned navigation and favourite buttons. Roadie 3 comes with 100+ built-in tunings and the possibility for users to create their own custom tunings.

Next-generation vibration detection gives Roadie 3 superior noise immunity and accuracy when tuning, even in loud places, while its vibrating metronome mode is designed to ensure users keep a tight rhythm. Its full-colour high-resolution screen lets users see options clearly and make quick selections on the RGB LED screen.

In addition to the features mentioned above, Roadie 3 sports other small inclusions like tuning with a capo on, changing the reference pitch and a bunch of other features to facilitate musicians.

The changes and upgrades that have been made to Roadie 3 since Roadie 2 can be viewed here.

Roadie 3 is now available for order, and comes with a 30-day money-back policy, 1-year warranty and worldwide shipping.
