of St. Albans, Hertfordshire. This tranquil and private setting is nicely tucked out of the way, but just 30 minutes out of Central London by road or rail. It is also adjacent to a local brewery
which serves a range of beverages and snacks, and has outdoor seating with countryside views.

LIVE ROOM
The Live Room at Darkwood Studios
is spacious at 10m x 5m x 3m.
This fully air conditioned room has
been custom built with flexibility in
mind: it boasts reversible sound baffles, diffusers and absorption panels for changeable acoustics.
It is a multi-purpose creative space fit for professional recording, live performance, video production, songwriting camps,
and workshops.
THE CONTROL ROOM
The air conditioned 6m x 4m Control Room at Darkwood Studios has perfectly balanced acoustics, and is fitted with a first class Genelec monitoring system. It boasts a custom-built back wall diffuser, and is fully isolated from the live room.
A Cadac analogue front end feeds Antelope Audio Orion convertors via Neve 1073OPX, Focusrite ISA & Audient ASP 880 preamps to enable up to 32-tracks of simultaneous recording.
Outboard rack includes Black Lion Audio Bluey (comp), Eighteen (pre), and B172A F.E.T. Opto Compressor.
