Toyota Alive Space boasts state-of-the-art Harman Professional AV solutions

To deliver unconventional showroom experiences for visitors to the new Toyota Alive Space facility, Mahajak Development Co., Ltd installed a range of state-of-the-art Harman Professional Solutions comprising audio, visual and control technology.

Toyota Alive Space is a newly opened showroom and experience centre spanning 48,000 square metres at the heart of Bangkok. The facility comprises three main areas—a main community space, a multi-purpose event hall and an office workspace—linked together by a bold and futuristic space aesthetic.

The communal space not only showcases Toyota’s latest vehicles, but it also features facilities seldom found at a car showroom, including an E-sport area for virtual driving simulations, a co-working space with high-speed internet, a yoga studio for health lovers and an Alive Kids Club for children.

Given the amount of ambitious features at play, Toyota Space Alive required the latest in AV technology to ensure reliable and efficient operation and communication throughout the facility. To meet this goal, Mahajak Development Co., Ltd., collaborated with Harman to deliver high-calibre solutions by JBL Professional and Crown Audio.

For the majority of the office areas, JBL 8124 full-range ceiling loudspeakers deliver clear, high-fidelity performance while blending seamlessly into the overall space. The installation team also installed 8124 speakers in the meeting and board rooms, with the addition of JBL Control 50S/T subwoofers to deliver impactful low end and a 32 Hz–20 kHz frequency response in a compact and sleek design.

A combination of Crown CT875, CT475 and XTi1002 amplifiers ensure consistent output, low-latency processing and easy-to-use controls. The resulting system ensures that Toyota employees can enjoy clear sound for virtual meetings and presentations—and collaborate without the need for troubleshooting.

Finally, the office relaxation zones utilise JBL Control 85M coaxial mushroom landscape speakers, which offer 360 degrees of coverage while blending into the surroundings, and the overall background music system is powered by a Crown CDi 2000 amplifier. Crown CT475 and XTi1002 amplifiers also provide power to the prototype showspace, giving guests a high-quality and immersive experience.
